CHURCH MINISTRIES IMPACT REPORT 2025
Rev. Aaron Perez, Director
2025 was filled with so many powerful encounters. Camille and I were truly blessed to see God move throughout our district in the lives of the young people as well as the leaders. It was a fulfilling year and I'm tremendously humbled that God has chosen me for this position. We walked away from every encounter excited, not just about what God had done, but what He was preparing to do. There is a large group of young people across our district that are stepping into their calling; I'm not talking about a call to full-time ministry, even though our CALLED program is growing; I'm talking about young people answering the call of the great commission. Going into their world and preaching the gospel to the lost. We have so many students running Christian clubs in their schools, and discipling new believers to start their own Christian clubs. There's a powerful movement taking place, and I am so blessed and excited to see what God does next, through them!
Our department's purpose and ongoing vision is to resource, encourage, and support the ministry directors in the local church across our district as they fulfill their purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
We do this by . . .
Building Relationships
Equipping Ministry Leaders
Supporting the Local Church
Developing the Next Generation of Leaders
2025: We are grateful for…
God's presence, guidance, and blessing : All of our events were highly impactful and the presence of God was clearly evident throughout them all. Additionally, so many of the administrative and technical aspects to our events flowed beautifully and missing pieces came together seemingly effortlessly, even in the midst of various transitions.
Senior pastors & leaders who encourage their staff to serve at a district level : This department only functions with the support of many leaders and teams who come alongside to help advise and inform our office; as well as support our many events throughout the year. We recognize that behind these teams are Senior Pastors that are willing to share their staff members to support the work that we are doing for all the churches in our district.
TEND24 and Prayer Ministry : This year we joined alongside many churches across our district to take part in a 24 hour prayer event. Many churches opened their doors, and so many pastors (and their staff) hosted a site so that our entire district family could partner during the same 24 hour period to seek God and cry out for our people and communities.
Leaders who serve on our Church Ministries Teams :
NCN Regional Youth Team: Jason Varughese, Pat McConville, Justin Blattel, Jaime Pierce, Anthony Garza
NCN KidMin Team: Frank Pereira, Aaron Gering, Jerraline Coster, James Hall, Erika Diehl, Stacy Marks
NCN Prayer Team: Brian and Cindy Johnson, Ben and Jill Brown, Darryl and Trina Sandford, Tim and Katie Gavigan, Camille Perez, Terry and Mary Inman
NCN Girls Ministries Coordinator, Cindy Sampson.
NCN Men's Ministry Director, Dr. Samuel Huddleston
5. The Lord calling young people into ministry : We held our third Commissioning service at Presence Conference 2025 and
witnessed 7 students being commissioned for the first time into ministry. Additionally, we also saw our first CALLED student
receive their licensing credentials as a minister in our fellowship. We are grateful that young people are responding to the call
of God on their lives.
“...to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up...”

YOUTH CONVENTIONS: SACRAMENTO & LAS VEGAS
Presence Conference 2025:
Participation: 1,500+
Set Apart. Presence Conference is designed for an entire generation to come together to minister to Him. We know that when we minister to Him, He in turn ministers to us. Our desire is for a generation to crave the prayer closet over the platform. The altar is the focus of Presence Conference ... a place where we can lay down our lives and pick up His calling.
Thank you, Michael & Christine Baker and your staff at Destiny Church Sacramento, for hosting Youth Convention.
YthCon LV 2025:
We are so very grateful for the team at Green Valley Christian Center in Henderson who hosted the Southern Nevada Youth Convention. Jason Varughese, our Regional District Youth Director in Southern Nevada continues doing a wonderful job of keeping our youth and youth leaders connected.
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
In 2025, we continued in developing the NCN Young Adult Ministries. Young Adult Discourse, a discussion Zoom for pastors and leaders of Young Adult Ministries and hosted by Shelby Scott and Jaivie Robles is held every other month.
PRAYER MINISTRY
The NCN Prayer Team, led by Rev. Brian and Rev. Cindy Johnson, continued to host opportunities to develop our prayer lives. 2025 began with a Week of Prayer and TEND24, a 24-hour prayer event hosted by churches around our region. Resources and personnel are continuing to be developed and available to our local church.
THANK YOU FOR PARTNERING WITH US
Thank you to all of the pastors and leaders who have partnered with us to further the Kingdom of God. A special thank you to our Executives, whose wisdom, guidance, and counsel has been enormously beneficial to me and this department in this past year. Also to Cindy Sampson, who continues to serve as my admin and provides the support and administration needed to make all that we seek to accomplish, a reality. Beyond this, I am truly grateful for all our Regional Youth and Kids Team, the Area Leaders, and many more who have come alongside me to help resource and support our ministry leaders and the local church.
